Hmm. If a “tantalizing candle smells so much like the real thing,” which in this case means delicious chocolate, isn’t a bit irresponsible and cruel to have the words “Genuine Chocolate Flavor” printed several times larger than the it’s-not-edible “candle” description below it? I don’t know about you, but if I follow the scent of warm chocolate that’s been wafting through the house for 65-70 hours (approximate burn time) and see a can of Hershey’s syrup bragging about its scrumptious genuine chocolate flavor, I’m not gonna read the rest of the label. A throat coated with melted candle wax be damned: I’m drinking it. Available from The Lighter Side beginning January 25 for $11. Via bookofjoe. If you have a portable drive that you carry around, there’s a good chance you’ve worried about your data being stolen, especially if you have sensitive information stored on it. There are a few ways you can keep it secure. While there’s no foolproof way to make sure that a thief won’t be able to pick it up and run off, you can make sure that they won’t get to your precious files. There are many methods from simple passwords to biometric locks, however, this is the first RFID-protective drive I’ve seen thus far. The STYSEN E08 RFID Security 2.5 Inch HDD Enclosure comes with two RFID keychains that will act as the keys to your data. (Read the full post about ‘Protect your portable data with RFID’…)

Posted Jan 20th 2008 11:48AM by Joshua TopolskyFiled under: Digital Cameras We know how difficult it will be not to get your shorts twisted over Panasonic’s latest digital camera offering, the Lumix LS80, but please try. Rumors are among us again, this time in the form of a new ultralight laptop from Lenovo. The X300 details are still missing two important items, the release date and the price. The specs however are really nice looking and are said to include a 13.3-inch LED, Intel Merom Santa Rosa Dual Core CPU (2.0 Ghz / 880 Mhz ), 64GB SSD, support for up to 4GB of DDR2 PC2-5300 RAM, a sweet 4 hours of battery life and weighing in at just 2.5 pounds. Overall it sounds like a great package, but if the 64GB SSD is the only option for storage then I would expect a pretty high price tag.
