SwissBike Folds Up Within Seconds
Cycling has obviously many advantages, especially when you live in a central area where everything is pretty much close by and driving a car will be too much of a hassle. Unfortunately, most bicycles aren’t too easy to carry around if you’re planning to be more adventurous from getting from point A to point B. The SwissBike XO is one mode of transportation that will change your mind - this full size mountain bike with 26″ wheels can be folded into a 36″ x 28″ x 12″ size in less than half a minute through a quick-release system that doesn’t even need a toolbox handy. All that is made possible thanks to the company’s Foldable Integrated Technology System and CLIX Wheel Retention System. (Read the full post about ‘SwissBike Folds Up Within Seconds’…)

Travel Charger Bag
Going for a trip is exciting, but some people (like me) find packing to be a chore. After, we not only have to consider the number of clothes that we have to carry these days but all the gadgets as well. The Travel Charger Bag aims to ease this headache by letting you stow your various devices in four pockets, including their respective appendix cords. The bag is also spacious enough to hold chargers and a power strip/surge protector which is able to charge everything inside via a single hotel room outlet. Handy! It will cost you $40 to bring this puppy home (and on your travels). (Read the full post about ‘Travel Charger Bag’…)

Cambridge SoundWorks PlayDock
While many companies are dedicated in creating audio docks solely for Apple players, the Cambridge SoundWorks PlayDock is different. Thanks to 4 different kinds of holders, the dock is compatible with a couple of MP3 players, such as the Creative Zen Touch, Dell Pocket DJ, the obvious iPods, and many more. It can either be used in a portable mode, which means 10 hours of battery but with no cord limits, or it can be simply AC powered. In the latter case, the mp3 player gets recharged. The Cambridge SoundWorks PlayDock costs 125. Product Page Robust 15-watt subwoofer has 4-inch driver. Tags: pvr, Gadget, video, cellphone (Read the full post about ‘Cambridge SoundWorks PlayDock’…)

Amazon’s alleged “physical presence” in Texas may cause them to settle unpaid taxes
It looks like Amazon’s decision to file a lawsuit against New York’s new tax policy on online stores may back fire on them as the Texas Comptroller’s Office is investigating the probability that the online store may actually owe the Texas government millions of dollars in unpaid taxes. If you will recall, in its case against the New York tax policy, Amazon argued that it should not pay the NY government any taxes because it doesn’t have a “physical presence” in New York. The same reason is now being used by the Texas government as it found out that Amazon has a “physical presence” in the area. First Look: Hands On with the BlackBerry Bold
After months of online speculation, rumor, and badly photoshopped innuendo, RIM announced its new BlackBerry Bold today. RIM CEO Mike Lazaridis stopped by the Wired offices last week and gave us some one-on-one time with an early version of the Bold. It’s, well, kind of awesome. I’m by no means a BlackBerry fanboy, but the Bold has some impressive features. First off the big news: HSDPA We tried it out in G-Lab HQ and were able to load several graphic heavy sites quickly. There were a few hiccups when pulling up Wired.com’s front page, but keep in mind this was also a beta unit. Mike assured us they were still ironing out all of the bugs and that final units would not have any issues. (Read the full post about ‘First Look: Hands On with the BlackBerry Bold’…)

Philips Xenium X800 e2e to come with “edge to edge” touchscreen?
As if we have not yet seen enough of all these new touchscreen phones that have been jumping out of the woodwork lately, here comes yet another, featuring the same old touchscreen, and almost the same specifications as well. Although this time, it could have one thing that separates it from the myriad of other touchscreen phones out there - herculean battery life. That’s because this new touchscreen phone falls under the Philips Xenium brand, which, in case you don’t know, has a reputation for churning out gadgets with incredibly long-lasting batteries. And knowing that this same company completed its very own touchscreen phone (Philips Xenium 9@9v) a couple of months back, this new rumor becomes quite believable.
